1.Training organization:
The training lasts two years:
BS1 Level:
During the first year, navy petty officers receive theorical and practical knowledge and obtain a certificate of “Diploma of specialty n°1” that allows him to be called for the rank of petty officer third class.
BS2 Level:
During the second year, navy petty officers receive theorical and practical knowledge and obtain a certificate of “Diploma of specialty n°2” that qualifies him to work on board ships or in technical divisions.
Continuous training:
BS3 Level:
Within the context of the continuous formation, after spending six years of effective work and satisfy conditions to succeed in competitive examination, navy petty officer obtains a certificate of “Diploma of specialty n°3” that allows him to be called for the rank of chief petty officer.
BS4 Level:
The Tunisian Navy Petty Officer’s School provides training in specialty “Diploma of mastery staff” representing the highest level of navy petty officer training.
