The Decree N 2004-398 of 24 February 2004, regarding the organization of the Naval Academy, sets the system of training and assigns the following missions:
- ensuring the training of officers for the Navy and the Merchant marine in the military field and the techniques of navigation;
- Organizing cycles of perfection or refreshment training;
- conducting, on request, scientific and technical research in the maritime field in favor of public or private organizations.
In order to fulfill its mission, the Naval Academy applies processes of planning, development, implementation and assessment of the training while resting on a system of management of quality in compliance with the standards ISO 9001, 2008.
