The Naval Academy (NA) is a publicly-owned establishment with an administrative aspect endowed with legal entity and financial autonomy.
It has the role of ensuring the training of officers for both the Navy and the Merchant Marine in the military fields and the techniques of navigation (Decree N 2004-398 of February 24, 2004).
The Naval Academy is situated in the town of Menzel Bourguiba in the North of Tunisia, on the Southern edge of the Lake of Bizerte and 60 km away of the capital, Tunis.
So far, The Naval Academy has formed more than 1200 officers.
