Master’s Degree in Maritime Technologies
The trainees in this branch should be holders of the high school diploma, the baccalaureate, and are selected according to the following criteria:
a- conditions of application:
- be holder of the baccalaureate in Mathematics, Techniques or Applied sciences during the year of application;
- be between 18 and 23 years at 1 September of the year of application;
- have a Tunisian nationality;
- be at least 1 meter 67 tall;
- have Swimming skills;
- be single;
- have at least 12/20 in physical education;
- have at least 12/20 in English.
b- Testing and admission:
The candidates are classified according to their files and therefore they are invited for a medical examination, a psycho technical test and a physical test.
The Navy and the Merchant Marine: the Engineering Branch
1- Conditions of application for the preparatory cycle:
The trainees in this branch should be holders of the high school diploma, the baccalaureate, and are selected according to the following criteria:
a- conditions of application:
- be holder of the baccalaureate in Mathematics, Techniques or Applied sciences during the year of application;
- be between 18 and 23 years at 1 September of the year of application;
- have a Tunisian nationality;
- be at least 1 meter 67 tall ;
- have swimming skills;
- be single;
- have at least 12/20 in physical education;
- have at least 12/20 in English in the baccalaureate.
b- Testing and admission:
On- line deposit of applications starts on 23 June until 07 July 2014 on the site of the ministry of defense: www.defense.tn
The candidates are classified according to their files and therefore they are invited for a medical examination, a psycho technical test, physical and swimming test.
2- Conditions of application forthe Engineering cycle:
Candidates should be holders of the Preparatory National Diploma. An initial selection is done for the 2nd year students of the preparatory cycle of the engineering studies of the ministry of education and scientific research and the ministry of technologies and communication.
a. Conditions of application:
- be registered in the 2nd year of the preparatory cycle of the engineering studies in the following sections:
- Mathematics and Physics,
- Physics and Chemistry,
- Technology;
- be between 18 and 23 years at 1 September of the year of application;
- have a Tunisian nationality;
- be at least 1 meter 67 tall;
- single;
- Swimming skills;
- To have at least 12/20 in physical education;
b. Testing and admission:
Deposit of applications is done on- line the site of the ministry of defense: www.defense.tn.
Each candidate should fill an application form on- line and choose, in sequence, the training branches.
The training branches in the naval academy are:
1. The engineering branch of the Navy:
-Deck and Naval Systems
-Energy and Naval Techniques
2- The engineering branch of the Merchant Marine:
-Maritime Navigation
-Energy and Machinery
The candidates are classified according to their files; and therefore they are invited for a medical examination, a psycho technical, physical and swimming test.
