The Diving School was created in 1990, it’s an organizational unit forming a separate and distinct unit endowed with financial autonomy it’s located in the base of Bizerte and it has a double role, training Navy personnel for diving qualification and carry out a variety of operational tasks all along the Tunisian coast.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Diving School is:
- Training/Qualifying military personnel in diving to meet the needs of the ministry of National Defense;
- Training on-demand divers in favor of some ministries and other public institutions;
- Providing refresher training for divers;
- Employment, monitoring and maintenance of Navy diving equipment.
